Hey, I was using User:GorillaWarfare/script/curlies.js [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Historiography_in_North_Macedonia&diff=1274297278&oldid=1274282290 here] and in the text „Св. св. Кирил и Методий” it replaced only the closing quote, leading to „Св. св. Кирил и Методий" Gonnym (talk) 15:24, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

::MOS:CURLY says not {{tq|use accent marks, backticks (`text´), low-high („ “) or guillemet (« ») marks as quotation marks (except when such marks are internal to quoted non-English text [...])}} so either the script changes both start and end or ignores start and end. If the script is smart enough to know if the text is inside a quote having it replace the other usages would be great. Gonnym (talk) 19:59, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

• A series of 22 mini-RFCs that double-checked consensus on some aspects and improved certain parts of the administrator elections process has been closed (see the summary of the changes).
• A request for comment is open to gain consensus on whether future administrator elections should be held.

• A new filter has been added to the {{#special:Nuke}} tool, which allows administrators to filter for pages in a range of page sizes (in bytes). This allows, for example, deleting pages only of a certain size or below. {{phab|T378488}}

I remember being very amused by a comment you made in some discussion a few years ago that "former X" should not be used as a derogatory, since almost all of us had menial jobs of some kind early in our lives, for example, you were a former waitress. Well, right now, on the Wikipedia front page, we have the DYK "... that a former Uber driver is the nominee to be the deputy secretary of a U.S. government department?" {{smiley|:(}} --GRuban (talk) 03:18, 9 April 2025 (UTC)
