File:Information.svg Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, :Mill pond. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Frost 04:41, 2 December 2024 (UTC)

File:Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. I edit, I get in trouble!
I have recently been banned from editing Wikipedia for a month because I kept on “vandalizing” a page. The page in question is about electric shock. I kept editing a caption under an image of an electric chair, first saying it was extremely common. Next thing I know, Jpgordon deleted it! I bashed him and BOOM! Queen of Hearts (I think that’s their username) kicked me off of editing for a month. This comment is not to bash anyone, but come on! Should I do this?
I have discovered the found footage article, and the page image is just a camcorder image taken in 2003 of just trees and a trail. I want to do more, though.
Example:
”Example of a found footage film. The recorder is mostly in some isolated location, and then things get intense, such as the recorder being followed or other creepy things. Sometimes, the film states that the cameraman has disappeared and/or died after the film ended.”
Okay, maybe that was too much… 199.192.122.199 (talk) 02:30, 4 March 2025 (UTC)

Well, if any other Wikipedia in any language decides to make a page on the said stunt that involves driving on two wheels, I sure do hope the Dutch Wikipedia includes the Simca image with the original Dutch caption. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 20:07, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
:I say “If any other Wikipedia in any language” since the only Wikipedia page for the ski stunt is the English one, excluding Wikidata, which is also in English. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 20:41, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
Other Names for 4-8-4’s
On the page about 4-8-4 Northerns, I was thinking of there being a section of said article of other railroad’s 4-8-4’s being called different names, but I decided my talk page would be better to do so. By the way, to prove my worth that these are real, go to the page on 4-8-4’s.
Santa Fe-
Heavy Mountains
CN/GTW-
Confederations, but later bumped down to just “Northerns”
Rio Grande-
Westerns
DL&W-
Poconos
Lehigh Valley-
Wyomings
NYC/NdeM-
Niagras
and finally, the goats of all the Northerns (in my opinion at least)
NC&STL-
Dixies.
These aren’t all the railroads that named their Northerns other names, just a taste. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 20:55, 5 March 2025 (UTC)

Should I do this? The sequel.
On the page about jumpscares, there’s a section talking about Internet screamers. You can find on the screamer section:
An intro definition of screamers
A Screenshot of the Maze Game
and a full description of the Maze Game.
I want to add more. Like, other examples of Internet screamers.
Example:
”Other examples of Internet screamers include “Ghost caught on Tape”, which is a YouTube video from 2006. In it, a dimly lit living room is seen with a rocking chair in it. At the end, the rocking chair starts rocking and then a creepy thing with Regan McNeil’s face crawls up to the camera and screams. Another example is “Little Dancing Girl” which is actually a deleted video from 2008. In a hallway with a TV with static on the right, a girl can be seen dancing. She dances around, but once she’s offscreen, a demonic red figure with white eyes pops up and screams.” 199.192.122.199 (talk) 19:22, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
:Is this for an image caption? RedactedHumanoid (talk) 19:33, 7 March 2025 (UTC)

How has this one image caption I changed stayed on for so long?
The second image caption I ever changed, the image caption on the page about reckless driving, has managed to hang on since December 2024. The image is of a road intersection with skid marks from a car on it. The skid marks are from donuts, which is when the car goes around and around and around in circles kicking up smoke. The following is the original caption and my caption.
OG caption:
”Driving stunts, such as donuts, are often illegal to perform on public streets.”
My caption:
”Skid marks from someone performing donuts at an intersection” 199.192.122.199 (talk) 16:59, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
:Probably because that is a good caption? RedactedHumanoid (talk) 19:37, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Just why?
On the page about car spotting games, there was a part about the Irish game “Ninye”. It was only on there for like one day. I think it was pretty well written, but now it’s reverted thanks to a user named “Plantdrew” saying it’s unsourced. Yep. Unsourced. Does the following sound unsourced to you?
“(Insert image of parked cars, with the ninye being a grey car with a black roof)
Ninye is a Northern Ireland version of the game "Yellow car". The rules of the game will include instead of a yellow car, a car with a different colored roof. For example a 'white car with a black roof' would count as a pinch. Ninye has no scoring system like "Yellow car", and there is little information about it online.
This tab is not to start a war against plantdrew or cause drama, it’s just, something that I wish stayed on. But at least the yellow car part is still on there. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 02:12, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
:Actually, scratch that. I tried to search Ninye online but found nothing but Forza and stuff unrelated to cars. So, Plantdrew COULD be in the green. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 02:14, 13 March 2025 (UTC)

Should I do this? Part 3.
On the page about Old Smokey (the name for electric chairs in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee), the Tennessee section failed to mention the fate of the original Old Smokey. I actually know what happened to old Smokey (the original Tennessee one, not the 2007 one). The chair was at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in Washington, before everything there got moved to Piegon Forge for the Alcatraz East museum, where it currently is today. I’ve actually seen Tennessee’s old Smokey in person AT Alcatraz East. So, in good ole example style,
”The original chair, after being removed, was displayed at the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in Washington D.C. until 2015. It is now at the Alcatraz East Crime Museum in Piegon Forge, Tennessee with all the other artifacts from the NMOC&P.” 199.192.122.199 (talk) 01:28, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
:Okay. Maybe the in person part was tmi. Please don’t do nothing bad. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 01:30, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
:You don't need to ask for permission or whatever on your talk page. First of all, aside from you for obvious reasons, I think I'm really the only person who actually checks your talk page. Second of all, I suggest you maybe use the teahouse. RedactedHumanoid (talk) 23:42, 14 March 2025 (UTC)

Things Wikipedia Should Do (Not Right Now, but probably in the future)
1: Give Internet Screamer its own page, free it from the jump scare page. (I mean, the Spanish Wikipedia has it’s own page on internet screamer)
2: Add a picture to the page on the JNR class D62
3: Make an article about CSD’s 475 class (4-8-2)
That’s about it. For now. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 16:12, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
:I think Wikipedia should make articles about Czech and Yugoslav steam engines. They do have some pages on both but have a lack of the more popular engines. For example, there isn’t a page on the CSD 475 class. 199.192.122.199 (talk) 23:02, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
::You don't need to add all these suggestions to your talk page, to be honest it is kind of a waste of time. If you wanna contribute to Wikipedia, you could just go to (nearly) any article and just make a constructive edit, like grammar fixin. RedactedHumanoid (talk) 18:27, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

In the 1990’s, Bessemer and Lake Erie Texas type number 643 (real and sourced) was apparently fired up for excursion service, according to videos and the Wikipedia article. Don’t believe me? Click here and read.
Sure hope I put that in right.
