I think the quality of meat has improved significantly over the last 10-20 years such that it's now safe to eat beef rare, but that's not necessarily true throughout the world so the best advice remains to cook thoroughly. :No, I can't access the source if it isn't somewhere in Wikipedia or Commons. Here's the help page with detailed steps for uploading images. Unless the servers are slow (it happens), you shouldn't have to try so many times. Can you outline what you did? For example, were you starting from a file on your computer using the upload page as your destination? Or were you uploading to [http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page| Commons]? Or?
