Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

Hey, I just recently reverted some of your edits, and I want to give you some advice since you're still a somewhat new editor. IR images are preferred sometimes if any other visible image is somewhat far from peak. I'd recommend you read the WPTC image guidelines for further information. Lastly, I'd advise that if you want to change an image, please take it to the talk page first and wait for consensus since sudden image changes in highly viewed articles can have an impact. I have reverted your page move of Tropical Storm Nicholas (2021) to the draftspace because it was disruptive. Landfalling storms should not be draftified as that effectively takes them out of the limelight where they will receive attention from the public, which results in article expansion. WPTC's practice is to have storms threatening land in the mainspace rather than as drafts so they can be expanded and provide information to readers. As long as an article can pass as a stub, it shouldn't be moved to the draftspace. I noticed that you carried out at least a couple of disruptive or counterproducive page moves since you were last warned about this issue in September. You need to stop making controversial page moves without a discussion (by "controversial, I mean non-Common Sense moves, or any moves that could require a discussion). For your most recent move, Hurricane Nana (2020) does not need or warrant the long and clunky title that you moved it to. Cyclonebiskit explicitly stated on Nana's talk page that this was unnecessary. Regardless of the exact title used, Julio would've had to have been mentioned in some detail in the MH, so the move wasn't really justified. Not to mention that the longer title violates WP:PRECISE. Dear project member,

This message is being sent out to encourage new ideas and feedback on those proposed in regard to the colors debate for WikiProject Weather. For those who are unaware of what's been happening over the last year, I will give a brief summary. We have been discussing proposed changes to the colors of the dots on tropical cyclone maps and templates and infoboxes across the entire weather project in order to solve issues related to the limited contrast between colors for both normal vision as well as the various types of color blindness (MOS:ACCESS). We had partially implemented a proposal earlier this year, however, it was objected to by a number of people and additional issues were presented that made it evident this wasn't the optimal solution. We tried to come up with other solutions to address the issues related to color contrast, however, none of them gained traction and no consensus was generated.

We need your help and I encourage you to propose your own scale and give feedback on those already listed. Keep in mind that we are NOT making a decision on any individual proposal at this time. We are simply allowing people to make proposals and cultivate them given feedback from other project members. Please visit our project page for additional details.
