Pink capitalism

Just a note about Pink capitalism: it seems quite heavily dependent on Marxist jargon and it also covers a broadly similar topic to Pink money. It also seems heavily dependent on a number of YouTube videos as sources, which is a problem given Wikipedia's rules on reliable sources. Have you got any plans to improve the article or perhaps merge a shorter version of it into a wider article on the relationship between economics and the LGBT community? —Tom Morris (talk) 21:50, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

Re: Heteropatriarchy

Thank you for starting this article. I hope you don't mind, but I added the article to Wikipedia:Wiki Loves Pride 2016/Results, which tracks new and improved LGBT-related content as part of an ongoing Wiki Loves Pride campaign. If you create or improve other LGBT articles between now and the end of June, feel free to update this page with your contributions. Thanks again! --Another Believer (Talk) 01:14, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Nomination of :Heteropatriarchy for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article :Heteropatriarchy is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Heteropatriarchy (3rd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. TheDracologist (talk) 21:35, 18 March 2017 (UTC)

Translation and attribution

Hello DaddyCell, Thanks for your contributions to English Wikipedia. One of your edits appears to be a rough translation generated by a computer from Spanish, namely this edit at Pride parade. This translation is incomprehensible gobbledygook. Please do not use machine translation which is considered by the Wikipedia community as worse than nothing. If you need help with a translation into English, please see WP:TRANSLATION.

Additionally, any material that is translated from another Wiki article is subject to the reporting requirements at WP:CWW which includes an edit summary indicating the source of the material, and a copyright attribution statement. Your edit summary is empty, and omits these legal requirements. I have added attribution for you to the article, but in the future, if you copy or translate any material from one article to another, please be sure to include the required attribution. In addition, use of the Translated page template on the Talk page is helpful. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 12:15, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in study

Hello,

I am E. Whittaker, I am working with Wikimedia’s Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews.

We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.

Proposal to split Economic_inequality

Hello, I would like to split Economic inequality. According to this link the article is 202 kB and WP:SIZESPLIT suggests an article be split after 40 kB. Also, on the top of the page is a banner that is two years old suggesting the article should be split.

Since I am new, I would like to build a consensus first, rather than WP:BRD. To that end, I put a post on Talk:Economic_inequality and am contacting everyone who has edited the page in the past month.

Thanks for your time and please come down to discuss! Seahawk01 (talk) 01:20, 25 October 2018 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

40pxHello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on . All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the Special:SecurePoll/vote/{{Arbitration Committee candidate/data. The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

Deletion Request

Proposed deletion of :Sissy villain

File:Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article :Sissy villain has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article was created without reputable citations and is libelous against cherished characters such as Jafar and Scar. Millions of viewers grew up watching Golden Age Disney and the article creator aggregated citations from ultra-liberal homoesexual sites such as pride.com to certify beloved characters are LGBT! This is defamation and a blot to what Wikipedia stands for which is unbiased knowledge book. This article is showing excessive support to a fringe theory that even Disney themselves denied, but is supported by LGBTQ magazines. I have plenty of reasons why this article fails Wikipedia standards. I will list the first reason. WP:SYN is officially followed in this article where multiple dubious citations are used to reach or imply the conclusion that beloved villain Jafar is a sissy villain! This is the most atrocious knowledge I have ever read. A Middle Eastern Muslim villain is LGBT? This is a violation against Islam! Don't let this article ruin the Golden generation of Disney. I sincerely urge everyone to not be against me but actually support me and think for a moment on how many articles these people have already created, and how much I have created?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.7falcon23 (talk) 00:38, 17 July 2021 (UTC)
