Orphaned non-free media (Image:T-Pain Freeze feat Chris Brown.jpg)
25px Thanks for uploading :Image:T-Pain Freeze feat Chris Brown.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Recreation of article redirected by AfD consensus
Please do not recreate pages redirected or removed as a result of Wikipedia consensus (such as Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Freeze (T-Pain song)). This article topic still does not meet criteria for WP:MUSIC, and recreating such an article will not cause it to remain in place, just as deleting AfD tags (as you attempted on this article previously) will not end AfD discussions. --Closeapple (talk) 00:01, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Image source problem with Image:T-Pain at the Grammys.jpg
Thanks for uploading :Image:T-Pain at the Grammys.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&type=upload&user=DinoAvdic this link]. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:03, 20 October 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 19:03, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Freeze (T-Pain song) notability
Hi. You asked on User talk:Closeapple#Freeze (T-Pain song) why there were problems recreating this article. The short answer is: It hasn't been sustained on a major chart yet and already had Wikipedia consensus to delete it, so it needs to be on a major chart for more than just a few days to become notable enough for a separate article. (See WP:MUSIC#Songs.) --Closeapple (talk) 21:34, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
The long answer: It was removed by a process called Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where editors discuss whether a topic meets the criteria for have an article of its own. In the case of Freeze (T-Pain song), it was discussed in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Freeze (T-Pain song) and consensus was that the song itself did not meet the criteria for a separate article, but should instead simply be redirected to Thr33 Ringz, and (verifiable) material can be added there instead. WP:MUSIC#Songs lists the criteria for a single having its own article. In the case of "Freeze", its most likely reason to be listed would be if it has "been ranked on national or significant music charts, [or] that have won significant awards or honors". This article keeps getting recreated despite having no verification on major music charts, and an unverified claim of #11 on iTunes for a single day probably won't pass the test either. If "Freeze" charts on a Billboard chart, or another major chart, or possibly charts for a long period on iTunes, it might be enough to meet WP:MUSIC#Songs. But simply being released is not enough for singles; normal treatment of singles on Wikipedia is to redirect them to their main album if it's notable, or to the artist otherwise.
Please note that an AfD doesn't prohibit the information from being part of another article, as long as it's a notable element of the other topic. For example, your information could be added to the Thr33 Ringz article, or to the T-Pain article. (Thr33 Ringz is a little iffy right now, since it's an unreleased album — but after November 11 it should be OK because released albums on major labels usually meet WP:MUSIC guidelines. It's singles that need a high level of major chart achievement to meet notability — albums just have to be from a major label to be considered enough.) Remember that facts added to any article should have citations so anyone can look at the citation and see proof of the facts; verifiability from reliable sources is very important to Wikipedia. Hope all this helps. --Closeapple (talk) 21:34, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:T-Pain at the Grammys.jpg
Thank you for uploading :Image:T-Pain at the Grammys.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&type=upload&user=DinoAvdic this link].

Speedy deletion of [[:Image:T-Pain.jpg]]
Image:Ambox warning_pn.svg A tag has been placed on :Image:T-Pain.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [http://mail.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikien-l/2005-May/023760.html], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{tl|hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. AcroX 19:30, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for File:J. Holiday Round 2.jpg}
Thank you for uploading :File:J. Holiday Round 2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:
:* That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
:* That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Your uploads
Good day. I see that you have uploaded a number of images to Wikipedia. First off, thank you for your contributions. Unfortunately, there are some guidelines that we need to follow with copyrighted images. Specifically, you need to add a source for the image (a link to a website will do), a copyright tag (there are some listed at WP:ICT), and a rationale explaining why we can use a copyrighted image (explained at WP:NFURG). I see that your images fail to include one of these. Please stop uploading images and address the concerns listed above. If you need assistance, you can ask at the help desk. If you do not fix these images, and you continue to make bad uploads, you will be blocked and your images will be deleted. Thanks for your contributions! STBotI (talk) 15:50, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Image:Ambox warning_pn.svg A tag has been placed on :Revolver (T-Pain album), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, {{#if:|at {{{2}}}|such as at articles for deletion}}. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{tl|hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I42 (talk) 20:39, 5 July 2010 (UTC)

Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. [[WP:ACE2015|ArbCom elections are now open!]]
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
