  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 13:23, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

File:Information.svg Hello, I'm Mako001. I wanted to let you know that one of your recent contributions—specifically [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=1094768390&diff=1097331947 this edit] to :Gulf Medical University—has been undone because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thank you. TfL minor edit

Hi - regarding the edit you made at Transport for London - just to let you know that "Examples (of a minor edit) include typographical corrections, corrections of minor formatting errors, and reversion of obvious vandalism." (from Help:Minor edit) Edits like your one - even positive and helpful ones :) - are not minor in nature, and shouldn't be labelled as such. See you around! Turini2 (talk) 21:26, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
