I was looking at :Category:National museums of Sweden and I would like you to change some aspects of your editing. It's important to keep a page history together so instead of emptying out an older category (something we call "emptying out of process") and creating a nearly identical new category, please go to Categories for Discussion and ask for a category rename or even a speedy rename in this instance. By creating a new category with only a small difference in the title, we are losing the page history of :Category:National Museums of Sweden that has been around for years. Please do not empty a category so you can tag it for deletion. Go to CFD for any category deletions, mergers or renames.

And it's also important every time you tag a page for deletion, whether CSD, PROD, AFD/CFD/RFD/etc., that you post a notice on the talk page of the page creator so they are aware of the page deletion. This is done easily if you use Twinkle to tag pages for deletion. Once you set up your Twinkle Preferences to "Notify page creator", then Twinkle will post these notices for you. It also will leave an informative edit summary, an act that you don't always do. Twinkle has a lot of neat features that help editors work more easily so I encourage you to look into it. Thank you. Please do not empty out a category which is called "emptying out of process". If you believe a category should be deleted, please nominate it for deletion at WP:CFD. This category just went through a CFD discussion recently and the decision of the editors was "No consensus", not to empty the category out of all of its contents so that it would be tagged for speedy deletion. I think we've talked about this before. Please do not empty categories "out of process", removing all of the pages they contain, and then tagging the page for speedy deletion, CSD C1. This is considered disruptive editing and your edits can be reverted when you do this.

If you believe a category should be deleted, renamed or merged, make a proposal at Categories for Discussion. If you continue to empty out categories, especially when they contain dozens of artices, I'll have to ask you to stop making edits that affect categories and their contents which I'd prefer not to do. So, please stop doing this and use the existing processes, especially if you are working with long-standing categories. When you tag empty categories for CSD C1 speedy deletion, please post a notice on the User talk page of the category creator. The easiest way to do this is to use Twinkle to tag the page and make sure, in your Twinkle Preferences, that you have checked the box stating "Notify page creator". It's important to let content creators know about possible page deletion especially if the category has been "emptied out of process".

If you haven't used it before, you'll find Twinkle is very useful for many routine tasks like tagging articles for problems, welcoming new editors, reporting vandals to AIV or posting warnings to problematic editors. It basically remembers all of the most used templates so you don't have to. I use it throughout the day and it makes tagging pages for PRODs or CSDs or starting up an AFD/CFD/RFD/etc. very simple and straight-forward.
