Learn what Wikipedians do and discover how to help.
- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 06:15, 29 October 2023 (UTC)

Selected anniversaries improvement (Is this how one pings?)
User:HeartGlow30797, I have added a new date to the January 26th On this Day blurb, I would love for you to check it out.
On your Reward Board Bulletin, you stated that I should ping you upon completion. Usually, I would just use your talk, which would ping you, but from your Talk Page system and how you said it, I assumed you wanted to be pinged outside of that, was that a correct assumption? I am relatively new to Wikipedia Editing.

The first trial election will take place in October 2024, with candidate sign-up from October 8 to 14, a discussion phase from October 22 to 24, and SecurePoll voting from October 25 to 31. For questions or to help out, please visit the talk page at Wikipedia talk:Administrator elections.
- Following a discussion, the speedy deletion reason "File pages without a corresponding file" has been moved from criterion G8 to F2. This does not change what can be speedily deleted.
