I am often handicapped by inability to read languages other than English
I am very much interested in German-language sources about Charles Pomeroy Stone, whose story I find an interesting metaphor for the development of American popular culture (trial by media, leadership during time of struggle). Stone actually was presented (as a U.S. military observer) before King Frederick William IV around 1848-1850. He was traveling with Peter V. Hagner. As an observer, he apparently was witness to some of the First Schleswig War. He presented a paper about his 1848 ascent of Popocatepetl to Von Humboldt (https://jbc.bj.uj.edu.pl/dlibra/docmetadata?showContent=true&id=347085). Would you be willing to look at German-language sources we could utilize for page improvement? BusterD (talk) 00:27, 31 March 2025 (UTC)

About Pierre-Dominique Martin
Hello Johannes Maximilian
I started this article as an English version to the existing version of the French one (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre-Dominique_Martin).
It's basically the translation. I attempted to use the automated Wikipedia's article translator but there are restrictions for new users as me, "The Content Translation tool may be used to facilitate the translation process. This tool is currently limited to editors with extended confirmed rights (automatically granted to accounts with 30 days tenure and at least 500 edits). Please see more information at Wikipedia:Content translation tool".
I've seen that it wasn't accepted for submission by you due to a lack of references.
There are some references in the French version although in French, can those be used and duplicated for the English version ?
Could you run the French version to English through the automated translation tool with your user privileges' rights ?
Thank you. TheGardenofEarthlyDelights (talk) 11:42, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Reviewing information to be added on [[Henley & Partners]]
Hi Johannes Maximilian, I was suggested on the talk page of Henley & Partners to ping someone who has previously responded to my prior COI request. You had reviewed and approved my previous request on the same page in January.
Pinging you and requesting you to review 2 new lines to be added on the page. It is similar in nature to my previous request and also in the same section. Sharing the link to this COI request https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Henley_%26_Partners#Addition_of_2_new_lines_along_with_references_in_the_'History'_section
Thanks in advance! Sarah Nicklin (talk) 07:24, 23 April 2025 (UTC)
