ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on {{#time:l, j F Y|{{Arbitration Committee candidate/data|2024|end}}-1 day}}. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the Special:SecurePoll/vote/{{Arbitration Committee candidate/data. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{tlx|NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:28, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

Creation of LTA Page

Hello. I'm Ghent123. I was reviewing different SPIs because I have an interest in potentially being a clerk. I noticed User:Zjholder and his sockpuppets have caused major disruption and has harassed you for quite a while now, so I created an LTA case against him as it is evident that they will not be stopping anytime soon. Hell’s Kitchen (Season 16) quotes from the eliminated chefs

I saw you took down those comments from the eliminated chefs. Why? Those comments are up there from Seasons 1-15. I'm not in violation of any of this. Why can't I have them up? I don't get to watch the show on FOX at night when I have to work! It's not fair! Christopher K. Howell (talk) 04:33, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

:{{re|Mahjong705}} Just because these comments are currently on the seasons 1-15 articles, it doesn't mean they should be in the first place. Truthfully, all of those should be removed as well. What a contestant said upon being eliminated is very trivial information, the episode summaries should be brief and summarize the main points of what occurred within the episode, not a full-on breakdown of every single thing that happened in the episode. Please also see MOS:TVPLOT. Thank you, and I hope you understand. Magitroopa (talk) 06:26, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

Hell's Kitchen (Season 23) finals

I think about that finals edit, it should be adressed as either vandalism or leaking info, dependent on whether it is true or not. Good call to revert it but please refer to it as vandalism. Nagito Komaeda the Second (talk) 12:34, 25 January 2025 (UTC)

Nick Jr. Current and Former Programming

Baby Shark is still on Nick Jr. and it is currently on hiatus! Paddington has just ended! Santiago aired only one rerun! Bossy Bear is not on Nick Jr. anymore! Kiri & Lou came back and went away last summer! LukeJolly3 (talk) 17:54, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

:{{re|LukeJolly3}} You have yet to provide any actual source for this information, and are continuing to edit war on the article. Continuing with both of these will likely soon lead to your account being blocked; please actually read the warnings on your talk page instead of just continuing to edit war with no sourcing in your edits. Thank you. Magitroopa (talk) 18:00, 25 February 2025 (UTC)

Old ANI

This has been stuck in my crawl for awhile now, but this closure by an admin always seemed incompetent and oblivious. The fact that the user was thusly blocked for the same reasons the admin said were appropriate and threatened to sanction anyone who disagrees is quite satisfying. Now that user is socking. Good call on your part to report them, even though you got disrespected by an old timer. I'm just leaving this note here to get it off my chest so I can forget about it. Edit War warning

File:Ambox warning pn.svg You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on :Everybody's Live with John Mulaney. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. IzzySwag (talk) 03:10, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

About a range

Hi. The /24 was a quick fix. Is 181.42.14.194 the person of interest? If so the /19 looks like a possibility. -- zzuuzz (talk) 23:19, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

:{{re|zzuuzz}} Honestly, not quite sure if that's Agustin or not. The SPI is Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Agustin Sepulveda Venegas 2004 Fan, and until I saw the block, I had left [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Ponyo&diff=prev&oldid=1287706380 this list] for Ponyo. Magitroopa (talk) 23:24, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

::I'll leave it at that /24 for now. Ponyo knows more about this one than me. At a glance I'd suggest they probably remain on a /24 for a short time, the /19 over the medium term, and several (or larger) ranges more generally. The larger the ranges the more collateral. -- zzuuzz (talk) 23:41, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

Redesigning the “America’s Got Talent” Host and Judges table

I saw the note not to edit the judges and host table but I had an idea to redesign it. I would like to match the table like on the “American Idol” and “Dancing with the Stars” articles. Would that be a good idea? Here’s an example:

June 2025

File:Nuvola apps important.svg Please stop. If you continue to assume ownership of articles, as you did at :Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, you may be blocked from editing. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. Throughout the years your brusque attitude towards anyone without more than four years of edits here on this article and other children's related articles especially has been unfriendly and very antagonistic, and your warnings to Postmaster12 are liable to scare off an editor who will eventually become a good contributor. This is an article about a children's award ceremony, and yes, younger folks will contribute to this article, and the only thing needed here was clarification, NOT a final warning. Stop acting like anyone who contributes to this article has to bring eight forms of ID, a notorized statement of authority and a utility bill to contribute. Nathannah📮 00:22, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
