By the way, anything I can contribute to the Shōroku Shintō Yamatoyama article?
I discovered that this organization ran a hospital in South Korea. ([https://www.kyeonggi.com/article/202202223674403 news article] in Korean) In addition to that, South Korea's MBC News introduced Japan's new religious movements in 1989, including the high school student followers of this religion at the latter part of the video. ([https://imnews.imbc.com/replay/1989/nwdesk/article/1821353_30389.html news article] in Korean, see 3:00-4:00)
So should I put them in this article by using your way of citing news? I believe you take care of this Wikipedia article better than me and I want your approval first. Komitsuki (talk) 05:13, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
:{{reply to|Komitsuki}} Hi there, thanks for reaching out. I don't have any understanding of the Korean language. Did the organization run the hospital or just provide funding for expanding it? It's hard to say based off of the machine translation to English. From the translation of the MBC video it seems the organization is breifly mentioned. I'm not sure that really can add anything to the article, but whatever they did for the hospital may or may not. Go ahead an add to the article and I can look if there's anything else that should be done. ❯❯❯ Mccunicano☕️ 00:07, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
::{{reply to|Mccunicano}} Thank you for your opinion. I need to apologize to you that I misunderstood the Korean forum post describing the first article. I was busy in real life during this long Chinese New Year vacation. It turns out that a South Korean entity ran the hospital and Shōroku Shintō Yamatoyama only provided the funding for the hospital facilities.
::I also found out that Yasusaburo Tazawa initially proposed the idea of Donate a Meal campaign among some Japanese religious organizations according to this English language book, [http://www.bahaistudies.net/asma/rkk11.pdf Invisible Eyelashes: Seeing What is Closest to Us], page 55.
::{{cquote|The Japanese Committee of the World Conference on Religion and Peace ([https://www.wcrp.or.jp/en/aboutus.html WCRP/Japan]) has continued its permanent Donate a Meal Campaign for more than fifteen [at the time of his writing this essay, in 1994] years. It was originally proposed by Rev. Yasusaburo Tazawa, the leader of Shoroku Shinto Yamatoyama (a new Shinto organization).}}
::Maybe this is worthy for citation.
::My opinion is that there should be a separate section called Charity activities (please suggest a better name) in that Wikipedia article on Shōroku Shintō Yamatoyama between the Theology section and the Further reading section. Tell me what you think because it's better to plan this carefully. Komitsuki (talk) 04:29, 29 January 2025 (UTC)
:::{{reply to|Mccunicano}} I added the information (thankfully, the Korean article in question has an English explanation) in English. I hope I did my best to your standard. Komitsuki (talk) 12:40, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
