I don't know what happened, but I may have made changes to the network that is recognizing my IP address as a proxy server. The IP address, 50.106.25.168, is tied to my house, and occasionally I remote access my home computer away from home. • Yeah, but I didn't do anything wrong on Wikipedia. Recently I've been doing some work on remote desktop access that may have caused the IP address to mark as "Confirmed proxy server". (Also, I just recently installed a new hard drive, but for some reason my computer screwed up and had to reinstall the operating system.) • Nobody is suggesting you did anything wrong on Wikipedia. And I don't see how you could possibly have affected the server status yourself - that IP query only goes as far as your ISP and not to you or your computer.
