CFL Stadiums map
Thanks for using a Canadien map. I didn't have one when I created the map. Yours is much better.
Logos
Good job on adding the logos to stadium articles. It makes the articles' quality better. However, I've noticed that some of the logos you've uploaded do not have a Fair Use Rational. It is important that they have one or else they could very well end up getting deleted. A Fair User Rational looks something like this...
It is believed that this image, Rogerscentrelogo.JPG, is subject to fair use in the article Rogers Centre because:
- This image illustrates the text next to which it appears.
- It is of much lower resolution than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality).
- This image is used on various websites, so its use on Wikipedia does not make it significantly more accessible or visible than it already is.
- The image is being used in an informative way and should not detract from the original work.
- No free or public domain images have been located for this item.
Just replace the bold parts with the name of the image and the name of the article. It's as easy as that. Cheers! -- bulletproof 3:16 04:33, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
stadium Logos
Please try to avoid uploading those has they are unneeded and replacable fair use, something we try to avoid. Instead find free images on the stadium themselves. Thanks Jaranda wat's sup 04:21, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
While I guess stadium logos are ok if there isn't a free image yet, they should be replaced by images of the stadium iself, which can be found by taking them yourself if possible, the logos are unneeded if there is already an image of the stadium. Patriots
Good job on quickly updating the Gostowski article. How about that game tonight! Also, what are your thoughts on the theoretical Drew acquisition?--Thomas.macmillan 00:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Moxie
What do you feel the image of the red and blue Moxie logo adds to that article? There's already a photo of an actual can that shows every bit of the exact same logo and, because the can is a three-dimensional object, the photo of the can is free-use. Because a free alternative exists, there doesn't seem to be a valid fair-use rationale for your image. Your thoughts? Kafziel Talk 13:23, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
:I feel that the Orange and Blue Moxie logo depects the CURRENT Moxie logo, and not the 1930s-era one that has been put on there. Yes there is a can image but there should also be a representation of the logo that the corporation uses in this day and age as well as the past logo. Both the Moxie Man and the Moxie Logo have been updated, which happened sometime in the 1980s
::But the picture of the soda can, right above the trivia section, has the exact same logo as the one you put in. The only difference is that the picture of the can is free use, and your logo isn't. Kafziel Talk 14:03, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
:::Then why can't we put the current logo back up to the top where it was prior to today for some time. that way people visiting the page can see the current logo, then see it on display on a can, then see one of the original logos that you put up
::::Because fair use logos should only be used if there's no free alternative. There is no free alternative for the old-style logo. There is a free alternative for yours - the picture of the can. Kafziel Talk 14:14, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
