July 2025 Clearly disruptive edits and edit warring

File:Stop hand nuvola.svg

Hello {{u|Plantaganet1}}. You have made and reverted edits that reverted your clearly improper edits of Jayne Mansfield. Your improper edits are [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jayne_Mansfield&diff=prev&oldid=1298525730 here], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jayne_Mansfield&diff=prev&oldid=1298537629 here], and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jayne_Mansfield&diff=prev&oldid=1298538514 here]. If you would have taken the minimal time to read the Early life section of the Jayne Mansfield article you would have seen the obvious Note 1 that reads, "Mansfield's mother's full name before marriage was Vera Jeffrey Palmer. Jeffrey is not her "maiden name", it is a family name Vera inherited from her mother (Jayne Mansfield's grandmother), Beatrice (Jeffrey) Palmer. So, Jayne's mother's full name was Vera Jeffrey Palmer Palmer."

There is no excuse for your failure to read Note 1 specially as I informed any reader of the Revision history of the Note 1 information in my summaries and the name before your wrongful deletion was supported by a reliable source and other editors. Further, your reference to Find a Grave is improper as a source. See, WP:RSP.

(1) Your repeated edits were not constructive, were disruptive, and appear to be vandalism. (2) Further, you are currently engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made to Jayne Mansfield by deleting original content supported by a reliable source. This means that you are repeatedly changing content to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.

Repeated disruptive editing or edit warring will result in your loss of editing privileges and being blocked without further notice. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 04:51, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

:Your conclusions are incorrect and unsupported by the evidence you cited. I have noted her correct name on her gravestone. I fail to find evidence that she ever identified herself as Palmer Palmer. If you have any, please post links here. I protest to your tone, your baseless allegations of vandalism and disruptive behavior. I must ask you to stop continuously reverting a solid edit and ignoring evidence. I must also ask you to cease making baseless threats against a fellow editor. ::As another editor showed, since her maiden last name was Palmer and she married a Palmer, her marriage resulted in her complete name of Palmer Palmer and at her death she used the her birth name Palmer with her new husband's name last. Her gravestone has her second husband's name and the Find a Grave reference supports that her name was Vera J. Palmer. Also, refs show when she married she was Vera Jeffrey Palmer just as if she were in a spouse in an Infobox. By the way, if you thought the information I provided in my summaries were wrong, you should have taken it to the Talk page instead of edit warring with the only explanation in your last revert. Also, note that her sisters' names in your ref were "Helen Beatrice Palmer Milheim" and "Ruth Jane Palmer Martin" keeping "Palmer". I will defend my actions and haven't reported the edit warring or asked for outside help regarding your actions. Quaerens-veritatem (talk) 05:38, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

:::You engaged in edit warring not me and it is on the talk page. Her name was never Palmer Palmer and that should not be on wiki as a fact. Plantaganet1 (talk) 05:52, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

:::Also, you make not have taken action or reported but you threatened it. Again, per our community rules, I have notified you of my action. Plantaganet1 (talk) 05:55, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

:Notice: User Quaerens-veritatem reported for accusation and threatening a negative action in violation of our user community. Plantaganet1 (talk) 05:14, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

:Also, a photo of her gravestone with her mortal identity is not an improper source. Plantaganet1 (talk) 05:20, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
