Reminder

Hi,

I noticed some of your edit summaries have come a little close to the WP:NPA policy. Ex. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sagada&diff=prev&oldid=1167896320/1], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Astro_Awani&diff=prev&oldid=1171138471/2], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Little_Bit_of_Sun&diff=prev&oldid=1176203803/3], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=London,_France&diff=prev&oldid=1178011754/4] and [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Article_15_(film)&diff=prev&oldid=1177912482/5]. Also, please be more careful with your comments on talk pages, such as on User talk:Foxxsam2. Please be civil and comment on the content, not the users. Please also be aware of the 3 revert rule, as you may have violated on List of 2023 albums. Thank you, Seawolf35 (talk) 02:23, 1 October 2023 (UTC)

Newspaper name

Hello. Regarding [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=I/O_(album)&diff=prev&oldid=1188223948 this edit], I don't think the addition of "the" is necessary and I've removed it. For example, with say, Los Angeles Times, we wouldn't need to specify The Los Angeles Times. If it's because it's a single letter, a comparable example is nobody's ever needed additional context for Q in ratings templates. Ss112 04:23, 6 December 2023 (UTC)

:Understandable. ! Quwoting2 (talk) 10:32, 6 December 2023 (UTC)

Please explain your edits

[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Hyperdrama_(album)&diff=prev&oldid=1198847043 This] was (at least initially) contentious and should have been explained, so it would be helpful if you would provide explanations for all your edits, not just some. Thanks. Ss112 15:33, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

:I did that because it just seemed to be the norm on most pages (e.g. Decided 2, etc). Never actually knew that they were counted as separate releases. ! Quwoting2 {converse} 03:28, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

:To piggyback, why are you [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Blu_Wav&diff=next&oldid=1199153260 adding unsourced information]? ―Justin (koavf)TCM 09:39, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

::The ref for "Watercooler" was already there, I just didn't think of adding it in. I'll find a source for the other single. ! Quwoting2 {converse} 10:13, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

:::Thanks kindly. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 10:32, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Can you explain your revert with no reason

I just realised you reverted my previous edit, with no reason. Can you kindly explain your reason support for [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_2024_albums&diff=prev&oldid=1219635979 this edit]? The album is original and notable, with a wiki page devoted, and the source I have included is from prestigious classical magazine Gramophone (magazine). I have readded it into the list of 2024 album, and I sincerely hope that there won't be revert without a valid reason. Thanks EleniXDDTalk 04:45, 22 April 2024 (UTC)

:And please be careful when you revert. James Bay's upcoming album 'Changes All the Time' notes its copyright says "℗ 2024 Mercury Records, a division of UMG Recordings, Inc." which is the American label he signed, and EMI is just a marketing in UK. Nelly Furtado just released her latest album '7' as [https://www.universalmusic.ca/press-releases/nelly-furtado-announces-7-her-eagerly-awaited-new-studio-album-to-be-released-september-20/ the press release news] says the album released by Nelstar, 21 Entertainment, Universal Music Canada, Republic Records, Casablanca Records and Polydor Records. Pillowdelight assuming this might just be for each country, e.g. as Canada: Nelstar, 21 and Universal Canada. US: Republic and Casablanca. UK: Polydor, and Ss112 also said that since her home country is Canada, Nelstar and 21 are the main labels. Perhaps Universal Canada could be listed. 183.171.122.107 (talk) 18:32, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

::Since QuietHere added independent source indicated release date of Changes All the Time is October 4, as Apple Music as well. And Nelly Furtado's latest album '7' indicated the label as 'Universal Music Canada' by [https://www.qobuz.com/au-en/album/7-nelly-furtado/jbz3z5xre8zja Qobuz]. 183.171.123.98 (talk) 03:31, 22 September 2024 (UTC){{hiddenping|Ss112|Pillowdelight}}

:::...this isn't even related to my revert? Both the sources you added were from the labels themselves, which is WP:COI. ! Quwoting2 {converse} 03:33, 22 September 2024 (UTC)

::::But why QuietHere did not remove EMI? It just a marketing in UK as mentioned above. 2001:D08:2911:37EE:17F8:266A:C1F6:752E (talk) 10:14, 24 September 2024 (UTC)

::::: Would you take a look at James Bay (singer), James Bay discography and other related articles? In which are not given the "Virgin/EMI" label on them. Marketing label in different countries/territories ≠ main label that artists signed or founded by their own. Another British singer Jessie J was signed to American labels Lava and Republic Records to released every albums, while in the UK were marketed by Island Records. 2001:D08:2920:8A10:17F8:F97B:F727:8069 (talk) 03:55, 27 September 2024 (UTC)

MOS numbers

When you made [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Strut_of_Kings&diff=1232009860&oldid=1231643102 this edit], you replaced "4" with "four", but per MOS:NUMBER: "Comparable values nearby one another should be all spelled out or all in figures, even if one of the numbers would normally be written differently: patients' ages were five, seven, and thirty-two or ages were 5, 7, and 32, but not ages were five, seven, and 32." Please revert this back to "4". ―Justin (koavf)TCM 01:22, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

:Have done so, thanks ! Quwoting2 {converse} 13:46, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

::Thanks to you and for what it's worth, I was chided by someone else about the same issue. Here's hoping you can pay it forward. Be well. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 13:54, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

Hello @Quwoting2. In the recent discussion about "Release history" table, Andrew318 said that those are distributors, not labels. So if you have any further comments as you wish. Regards. 2001:D08:2900:E078:1804:FA92:48A3:DA6B (talk) 05:15, 5 November 2024 (UTC)

:I'm just saying that it doesn't matter if the sampled writers are credited as producers (most of these are probably because of a sampled/interpolated melody). It's the exact same on every platform. Quwoting2 / Mhm? 02:30, 10 April 2025 (UTC)

10 (Sault album)

Cool contribution, I appreciate. However, why don't you give the source of these credits? Even if you're of the band's own camp, the users are interested you know ;-) Also, rules and all. — Kochas 14:18, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

:Yeah, forgot about that lol. [https://listen.tidal.com/album/430072939/credits Here's the Tidal page] ^^ Quwoting2 / Mhm? 00:29, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

''Moon Music'' credits

The original credits list was based on Spotify and Tidal, which are up to date. Are you sure it's correct to remove some of the names? I don't really know the guidelines for the track listing section. GustavoCza (talkcontribs) 18:21, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

:I usually go by WP:TRACKLISTING: "Track listings can be sourced to liner notes (WP:PRIMARY) as a definitive WP:VERIFIABLE source without the usual WP:SECONDARY sourcing requirements of most Wikipedia content. This is generally assumed and does not need explicit citation in most cases." e.g; John Metcalfe and Davide Rossi are only credited with string arrangement in the liner notes and not co-writing, and some of the names listed for "We Pray" aren't present at all

:(must confess that I don't actually have a physical copy so this was taken from [https://www.discogs.com/master/3614440-Coldplay-Moon-Music/image/SW1hZ2U6MTE2NjYyMjI2 Discogs] which I hope is close enough) Quwoting2 / Mhm? 02:09, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
