::Sorry, didn't know you had a follow-up question. Consider a WP:PING in the future. As for confirmation, typically it will be on the team's website. For example, see [https://www.nba.com/magic/news/orlando-magic-sign-free-agent-kentavious-caldwell-pope-20240706 this] for KCP. It refers to the team's president, not like breaking news that often refer to unnamed "sources".
