- As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of February 14, we are at 10.07%, with 472 articles currently in :Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
- Based on the members list, there are currently 236 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

- 14 - Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) presents Against All Odds
- 21 - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) presents Elimination Chamber

- On January 31:
- Tim Donst defeated Player Dos to win the Chikara Young Lions Cup.
- At the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 31:
- Mickie James won the WWE Women's Championship by defeating Michelle McCool.
- Edge made his return after injury to win the Royal Rumble match.
- Beth Phoenix became only the second woman in history to enter the Royal Rumble match.
- Jack Brisco died on February 1 at the age of 68.
- On the February 2 episode of ECW, Vince McMahon announced that ECW will be coming to an end. It will be replaced with a program called WWE NXT, which will debut on March 2.
- In early february it was announced that Canadian indepedent promotions Border City Wrestling and BSE Pro have merged to form Maximum Pro Wrestling.
- Independent wrestler Human Tornado announced his retirement on February 4.
- On the February 8 episode of Raw, The Miz and The Big Show won the WWE Unified Tag Team Championship by defeating the reigning champions D-Generation X and CM Punk and Luke Gallows in a triple threat match.
- Retired Canadian professional wrestler Charles Baillargeon died on February 10 following a stroke at the age of 92.
- On February 11, ROH announced that their television program, Ring of Honor Wrestling, would begin airing on Dahlia TV in Italy.
- Tyler Black won the ROH World Championship for the first time at ROH's 8th Anniversary Show on February 13 by defeating Austin Aries.

- If you come across an article that fails notability requirements, you can tag it for speedy deletion if the criteria apply, propose it for deletion, or nominate it at WP:AFD.
- When adding headers to articles, do not add wikilinks to them and only capitalize the first letter of the first word and any proper nouns.

- Negro Casas defeated Hijo del Fantasma to win the CMLL World Middleweight Championship on February 14.
- On February 15, TNA announced that TNA Impact! will be moving to a Monday night timeslot to compete against WWE Raw.
- On February 16:
- Dave Taylor was announced as the new TNA agent.
- On the final episode of ECW:
- Ezekiel Jackson won the ECW Championship by defeating Christian in an Extreme Rules match.
- The eight FCW wrestlers who will be competing on WWE NXT were announced as Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Wade Barrett, Heath Slater, Darren Young, David Otunga, and Michael Tarver.
- On February 17, it was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling competitor, Kazuchika Okada had begun working for TNA.
- At the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on February 21:
- Chris Jericho won the World Heavyweight Championship by winning an Elimination Chamber match.
- John Cena won an Elimination Chamber match to win the WWE Championship. Immediately after the match, however, he was defeated by Batista for the championship.
- Sheamus O'Shaunessy suffered a concussion during his WWE championship defense in an Elimination Chamber match.
- On the February 22 episode of Raw, Maryse defeated Gail Kim in the finals of a tournament to win the WWE Divas Championship.
- The inaugural episode of NXT aired on Syfy on February 23.
- TNA announced a pay-per-view deal with the Extreme Sports Channel in the United Kingdom on February 25. The first pay-per-view to be broadcast as part of the deal will be Destination X.
- On February 26:
- World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced they had released wrestlers Gregory Helms, Paul Burchill, and Maria from their contracts, along with referee, Scott Armstrong.
- On SmackDown, Michelle McCool defeated Mickie James to win the WWE Women's Championship.
- Davey Richards defeated Kenny Omega on February 27 to win the PWG World Championship.
