Welcome, newcomer!
Here are some useful tips to ease you into the Wikipedia experience:
- First, take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial, and perhaps dabble a bit in the test area.
- When you have some free time, take a look at the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines. They can come in very handy!
- Remember to use a neutral point of view!
- If you need any help, feel free to post a question at the Help Desk
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Also, here are some odds and ends that I find useful from time to time:
- Wikipedia:Policy Library
- Wikipedia:Utilities
- Wikipedia:Cite your sources
- Wikipedia:Verifiability
- Wikipedia:Wikiquette
- Wikipedia:Civility
- Wikipedia:Conflict resolution
- Wikipedia:Brilliant prose
- Wikipedia:Pages needing attention
- Wikipedia:Peer review
- Wikipedia:Bad jokes and other deleted nonsense
- Wikipedia:Village pump
- Wikipedia:Boilerplate text
Feel free to ask me anything the links and talk pages don't answer. You can most easily reach me by posting on my talk page.
You can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes, likes this: ~~~~.
Best of luck, and have fun!

I cant believe you only took 3 minutes to classify Grapefruit spoon. You are a classification genius. I was wondering whether to just delete it (or send to wiktionary). Justinc 02:28, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
Careful editing
Nice edits to add titles to World Wide Web Consortium. Unfortunately, your edits had a side effect of [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=World_Wide_Web_Consortium&curid=33149&diff=25249336&oldid=24968943 turning all non-Latin text to garbage]. I have cleaned up the garbled Unicode characters, but please be careful, and use a modern, Unicode-enabled browser or external editor to avoid that sort of effect.
- Ouch. Sorry. Lesson learned, thank you NantonosAedui. Scottkeir 00:08, 15 October 2005 (UTC)

Date links
Since you have previously taken an interest in links. Please be kind enough to vote for my new bot application to reduce overlinking of dates where they are not part of date preferences. Thanks. bobblewik 20:49, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
