Your submission at Articles for creation: Above-ground living area (AGLA) (October 15)

File:AFC-Logo_Decline.svgYour recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Joe Decker was:

The comment the reviewer left was:

Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. Preston Sturges

Please don't dumb down our articles by re-writing them in middle school English. It's hardly necessary to hold post-graduate degrees to understand the meanings of "Prior to" and "however", so there's no need to change them to "Before" and "but". Beyond My Ken (talk) 04:42, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Why do you believe that the English preposition "before" is "dumb" and "middle school"? Substituting Latin legalese is not smarter; it's just pretentious.

If you prefer "however" to "but" that's fine, but in that case please correct the punctuation. ScribeMonk (talk) 04:56, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

Pekin Noodle Parlor

Not sure why you moved this to Pekin Noodle Parlors. That's not what the restaurant is called. Yes, they have a very old sign (century old?) that says "Pekin Noodle Parlors" but neither the restaurant nor any reliable sources use this name. I know, because I wrote the article and the restaurant's own website uses "Pekin Noodle Parlor". Viriditas (talk) 00:26, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
