Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay
File:Wikimedia-Meetup-GoldenBay-Mohua-v2 05.jpg are holding some seats for us until 21 November]]
Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.
Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
Copied text
Hi there, I removed that paragraph you copied in to Jonathan Mane-Wheoki, according to the website it does not have a compatible license. It's always best to rewrite stuff like this unless you're 100% sure it's allowed. REAL_MOUSE_IRL talk 08:51, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
:Ok, thanks for checking for me! I'll try rewrite it. Do you mean it wasn't under a CC license? TreeReader (talk) 09:00, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
::It is CC but it's non-commercial (this is depicted with "NC", or a dollar sign with a strike through it), which means it isn't compatible with Wikipedia's license unfortunately. REAL_MOUSE_IRL talk 19:48, 4 April 2025 (UTC)
:::ah ok thanks! TreeReader (talk) 23:37, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
