Usually if something is important enough, other more reputable sources would have also published the same information, and we can cite those instead. This leads into concerns I had of WP:UNDUE, meaning that even facts and details may not be included on Wikipedia if they are insignficant. You may also want to look at Help:Getting started. If you take the time to read through these, some of of what you're pushing back against may begin to make more sense.
