[[Draft:Student Democratic Party|Student Democratic Party]] moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Student Democratic Party, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Republic of Ireland football league system

Hi Xanix1000,

Thanks for your edits to the league pyramid. I noticed you changed the number of teams in the Sligo Leitrim District League to 13, up from 12. Just wondering if you have an updated source for this also? Cheers

ElfmanWriter (talk) 18:44, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

:My source is the FAI connect app which shows the league tables and fixtures for all Irish football leagues Xanix1000 (talk) 20:26, 20 April 2025 (UTC)

::Thanks for clarifying. Looks like the app is also saying 12 teams so I'll change that part back but leave the Division One additions. Thanks for your updates! ElfmanWriter (talk) 23:05, 21 April 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Volt Ireland

Hello Xanix1000,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Volt Ireland for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title={{urlencode:Talk:Volt Ireland}}&action=edit§ion=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+page+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+ contest this deletion], but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

:I don't get why my article is being deleted, Volt Europa is a pan european party, surely we should be allowed to access information about the different branches of Volt, especially since the Volt Ireland website doesn't work. Xanix1000 (talk) 21:52, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=I was trying to make an article for the Irish chapter of Pan European party Volt Europa, I used their own words for my article to now twist it, I later realised and changed the article before it was delete to add my own wording for the policies of Volt Ireland, I made a temporary mistake while editing, and I regret it, I hope you realise my honest mistake and consider unblocking me Xanix1000 (talk) 21:59, 9 May 2025 (UTC)}}

The other issue here is that you were edit warring to preserve your copyright violations. How will you handle editing disputes without edit warring in the future? 331dot (talk) 08:34, 10 May 2025 (UTC)

[[:Draft:Volt Ireland]]

Heads up,

Facebook and X (Twitter) cannot be used as a source since Facebook and X (Twitter) considered as an unreliable source. Untamed1910 (talk) 21:41, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:Can I not use them as sources if they come from the party themselves though? Especially since the accounts are verifiedXanix1000 (talk) 21:53, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

::No, Per :WP:RSPX and :WP:RSPFB Twitter and Facebook are considered as Generally UnReliable. Facebook is considered generally unreliable because it is a self-published source with no editorial oversight, Twitter is also considered generally unreliable. Untamed1910 (talk) 22:04, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:::Yes, but the "self published source" is published by the political party the article is about. But I get what your saying, I will try and replace the facebook and twitter links with official party statements and documents, thanks for the feedback. Xanix1000 (talk) 22:06, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:::Hey, according to the policy on twitter, using X as a source is allowed

:::if "the author is a subject-matter expert or the tweet is used for an uncontroversial self-description. In most cases, Twitter accounts should only be cited if the user's identity is confirmed in some way."

:::The way is I used X provides a self description, and unfortunately I can not access the Volt Ireland website, which means I can not access their original statements, only what their verified facebook account says about their policy. Xanix1000 (talk) 22:14, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
