thanks!

@Kj cheethamthanks for reminder me to de-orphanize! I just did this, with a reference to the Aptamer wiki page which he was an inventor. OK take down the flag? Zamphere (talk) 18:55, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

:Hi {{u|Zamphere}}, thanks for your message! I assume you're referring to Andrew D. Ellington? That's great you've able been to wikilink to that article. I've just taken the flag down myself for you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 09:20, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

Thank you!

Hello @Kj cheetham, thank you so much for helping to improve the entry on Robin Markwica. Thanks also for your feedback regarding categories. I have just inserted four more categories. See: Robin Markwica. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! MassAve74 (talk) 19:45, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive

Image:AFC-Logo.svg

Hello Kj cheetham:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in June!

The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 1 month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 June 2025 through 30 June 2025.

You may find :Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

There is a backlog of over {{Rounddown|{{formatnum:3,205|R}}|-2}} pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:25, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Request for page review

Hi when you have time could you please review page Ilir Shaqiri ? Thank you Lanceloth345 (talk) 22:23, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

:{{u|Lanceloth345}} thanks for your message! I tend not to take requests to review specific articles - there is a very large backlog and they are in a queue. However in this case, looks like someone else has reviewed it already anyway. -Kj cheetham (talk) 08:39, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

May thanks

: {{u|JohnMizuki}}, thank you, that's very kind of you! (As an aside for interest, we just completed a month-long backlog drive to work on the queue for new articles needing review - still over 10000 in the queue though, even though we did a lot!) -Kj cheetham (talk) 18:33, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

::Woaah that's a lot of pending work. Can I check new articles too, or it's for admins? Maybe I can help with the easy ones JohnMizuki (talk) 18:53, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

:::The backlog was over 18000 at the start of May, and also new article are added daily. The team apparently reviewed 17309 articles in the May session, but we can't sustain that every month as people burn out, hence needing to do a special push every few months. I definitely need a rest now! The queue is never-ending. :-( To be able to mark articles as reviewed, you need to apply for a special permission on your account. I suggest taking a look at WP:NPP though as a starting point, as there's quite a few things to be aware of. If it's something you're interested in getting involved with, would be good to have you on board! Literally just reviewing a single article every so often would be appreciated. Just spotted your account is auto-patrolled now too, so we won't need to review your new articles because you've shown you know what you're doing. :-)-Kj cheetham (talk) 19:04, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
