The dayside temperature of WASP-100b has a maximum temperature of 2710 Kelvin. WASP-100b has a warm nightside temperature of 2380 Kelvin. It was also found that the planet has efficient heat redistribution which manifest itself as a substantial eastward hotspot.{{Cite journal |last1=Jansen |first1=Tiffany |last2=Kipping |first2=David |date=2020-05-21 |title=Detection of the phase curve and occultation of WASP-100b with TESS |url=https://academic.oup.com/mnras/article/494/3/4077/5815103 |journal=Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society |volume=494 |issue=3 |pages=4077–4089 |doi=10.1093/mnras/staa814 |doi-access=free |issn=0035-8711|arxiv=2001.10580 }}
