Welcome to WikiProject NASCAR. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of NASCAR and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. Goals
- To divide the subject of NASCAR into appropriate subtopics
- To gather complete and accurate information in all NASCAR-related articles
- To standardize the appearance of NASCAR-related pages, such as articles on races, drivers, and teams, as well as race reports and season summaries
- To improve NASCAR and as many related pages as possible to Featured Article standard
Scope
- All three national championships (NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series)
- All current and former regional series' championships (also known as NASCAR Home Tracks)
- People who are related to the sport directly, such as drivers, crew chiefs, owners, and other notable figures.
