Consensus has been that minor league season articles are generally not notable. In the case of these, the seasons also fail WP:GNG as well. See also 1922 San Francisco Seals season and 1923 San Francisco Seals season, nothing in those anyway that can't just be in the main article. Wizardman 21:38, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

:If minor league seasons are suddenly notable then i guess i have a lot of old AFD'd seasons to restore. Wizardman 22:03, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

:: Also, in its official rating of the Top 100 minor league teams of all time, Minor League Baseball rated the 1925 Seals as the 10th best team of all time. See [https://web.archive.org/web/20190309190713/https://www.milb.com/milb/history/top100.jsp?idx=10 here]. It was also selected in 2003 as the second best team in the 100-year history of the PCL. See [https://www.newspapers.com/clip/44737497/pcl_top_10/ here]. Cbl62 (talk) 23:42, 16 February 2020 (UTC)

  • Keep This book gives a few pages to the season - [https://books.google.com/books?id=BWRNtf-_PEkC&pg=PA333&lpg=PA333&dq=1925+san+francisco+seals&source=bl&ots=6a2ugTUfb8&sig=ACfU3U1UYWdqrHwjEOEaV3DsrNhGMd277g&hl=en&ppis=_c&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwixwN_vh9fnAhUEeKwKHQeMCTo4ChDoATAJegQIChAB#v=onepage&q=1925%20san%20francisco%20seals&f=false]. The season is also discussed in [https://books.google.com/books?id=m55qm2q8sM0C&pg=PT75&lpg=PT75&dq=1925+san+francisco+seals&source=bl&ots=dl9h4K_DIg&sig=ACfU3U2_AeLVBqVVhNk5S17dxa4247izJg&hl=en&ppis=_c&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjovu2iiNfnAhUHLK0KHYDuCSE4FBDoATACegQICRAB#v=onepage&q=1925%20san%20francisco%20seals&f=false]. As Cbl62 pointed out, at this time the PCL was considered to be the premier league in the western US, and the '25 Seals won the pennant of this league, so this season likely passes WP:NSEASONS. • Weak Keep based on sources and rationale presented by Cbl62, but with the understanding there remains no inherent notability to minor league baseball seasons, only that this specific season may (barely) pass the WP:GNG. Chetsford (talk) 03:13, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
  • Keep per all above. Baseball in the South and West in the pre-MLB expansion era is a completely different animal to what we would consider to be "minor league" seasons today. These teams got significant, GNG-qualifying coverage in the historical print media of their era, especially so since these particular teams were championship-winning teams. • Keep - practice for current minor league teams, which are developmental teams, are not really relevant to the period before minor leagues became developmental leagues. High level minor league teams, especially pennant winners, were much more significant at that time when these were the top baseball teams in the region and the players were not just there for the purpose of becoming major leaguers.
