Wikipedia:Run-of-the-mill#Sports. There is not enough about this regular season game for an article, even with a 23 point comeback. This can be sufficiently covered in the season articles. – Muboshgu (talk) 23:29, 5 May 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. Game seems run-of-the-mill. The comeback was big, but not especially historic. There doesn't appear to be any notable sustained coverage. Esolo5002 (talk) 00:29, 6 May 2025 (UTC)

Cliff Christl highlighted the game in his book chronicling the first 100 years of Packers history, which I have added to the article. Obviously also well covered after it happened in 2013, and as PFR.com notes, is the Packers franchise record for a comeback. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 02:31, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
:Delete- as with the 1982 Rams-Packers game, the comeback and temporary coverage of the game is not enough to establish long-term notability, considering there are game comebacks that are bigger, but yet don't have a dedicated article (Such as the 2022 AFC Wild Card Game between Los Angeles and Jacksonville). Considering that both of these articles were very likely created by a Packers fan, I see somewhat of a WP:COI issue. ロドリゲス恭子 (talk) 16:44, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
::Two things: I pointed to five sources from the years following the game, with some noting it last year. Second, being a fan of anything does not present a conflict of interest. That is a bizarre accusation to make {{U|ロドリゲス恭子}}. We edit articles and topics we are interested in. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 17:03, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
:Delete per failing WP:SUSTAINING. Nevermind the game summary is all run-of-the-mill coverage, let's focus on the legacy. It doesn't seem to me the sources provide the coverage beyond routine or the feel for them to be used in the rivalry article. I'd also be okay with a partial merge to the rivalry article. Conyo14 (talk) 23:30, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
::Regarding WP:SUSTAINING, we have articles from 2013, 2015, 2019, a book published in 2021, and two articles from 2024. For a regular season game, this is fairly well sustained. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 17:15, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
:::Good sir, that book was not published on this game. It is a mention. Besides, where beyond WP:LOCAL sources, where are we gathering this information (aside from Sporting News). Conyo14 (talk) 17:24, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
::::That's an essay. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 18:30, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::And I am holding regular-season, single-game articles to a higher standard; where I see the bias in using only Milwaukee/Green Bay sources (again, aside from the Sporting News article). Conyo14 (talk) 18:35, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::{{U|Conyo14}}, I don't mean to go back and forth. I was just noting the sustaining part of your comment, that 11 years later it is still being discussed. I will definitely give you the point that the news articles I have included originate in Wisconsin, although MJS is a national newspaper, serving a large metro area, and the largest in Wisconsin. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:50, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::That's all good. Just like The New York Times, there will be bias for their local sports teams. So, in the event of a rivalry game such as this, it's best to get both sides. Otherwise, maybe it could be merged to the rivalry article. Conyo14 (talk) 17:07, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::::{{U|Conyo14}}, I have added three additional sources to the article: [https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2024/09/09/packers-have-turned-to-backup-quarterback-before-heres-how-it-went/75145289007/ another MJS from 2024], [https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2020/05/02/50-greatest-wisconsin-sports-moments-no-21-randall-cobb-wide-open/5136843002/ another MJS from 2020], and [https://www.si.com/nfl/packers/news/top-10-clashes-in-packers-cowboys-rivalry Sports Illustrated from 2022]. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 17:59, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::SI uses AI in most of their articles nowadays. I cannot consider it a reliable source anymore. Also, woe is me that Journal-Sentinel is paywalled now. Conyo14 (talk) 18:34, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::The SI one says it's written by Bill Huber, "who has covered the Green Bay Packers since 2008, is the publisher of Packers On SI, a Sports Illustrated channel". Woe will be all of us if AI takes over more writing... lol. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 18:46, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::WP:RSP provides a little more context around SI, with Wikioriginal noting I think this falls clearly in the case-by-case basis. I think my overall point is that from a sustaining perspective, we have plenty examples of continued coverage. WP:SIGCOV does not require sources be dully dedicated to the topic, only that they be more than trivial mentions. There's at least eight sources in the article now that each have a paragraph or more dedicated to the game. On another note, MJS isn't paywalled for me? « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 18:55, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::::I mean I don't have a subscription to it. So, I'm not sure why it isn't allowing me to enter. Regardless, it's sustained by mainly local sources. Anything from Dallas Morning News? NYT? WP? Conyo14 (talk) 19:45, 8 May 2025 (UTC)
