• Delete. As always, people do not get Wikipedia articles just for standing as candidates in elections they didn't win — the notability bar at WP:NPOL is holding a notable office, not just running for one, while unsuccessful candidates must either (a) demonstrate that they already had preexisting notability for other reasons that would already have gotten them a Wikipedia article anyway, or (b) show credible reasons why their candidacy should be seen as a special case of much greater and more enduring significance than most other people's candidacies.
