Doesn't look like meeting WP:NPROF, WP:GNG, WP:RS. The article does not cite any independent sources. Looking at the citation indexes in Scopus [https://www.scopus.com/authid/detail.uri?authorId=7201378296] not enough for meeting WP:NACADEMIC#Specific_criteria_notes. • Keep. The named professorship at LSU looks like a pass of WP:NPROF C5. The citation record also looks like a potential weak pass of WP:NPROF C1. The article could use some trimming, but doesn't look so bad as for WP:TNT. Russ Woodroofe (talk) 18:48, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
  • Keep. I can't find enough reviews of his three books (Pricing Derivatives, Gauge Theory on Compact Surfaces, and Representing Finite Groups: A Semisimple Introduction) to convince me of a pass of WP:AUTHOR, and his citation record is borderline. But the named professorship is enough. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:17, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
  • Comment I don't believe the subject is either a named chair or distinguished professor. So I don't see how it satisfy WP:NPROF C5. RationalPuff (talk) 19:38, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
  • You don't believe the sources saying he was named Hubert Butts Alumni Professor? Or you don't believe that the professorship named as the Hubert Butts Alumni Professor is a named professorship? —David Eppstein (talk) 20:26, 17 February 2021 (UTC)
  • Keep. The name professorship is significant, and the citation records appears plausible enough for Mathematics.--Eostrix  (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 18:36, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
  • Keep passes NPROF C5, named [https://www.math.lsu.edu/node/2347 professorship]. Regards,--Goldsztajn (talk) 03:27, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
  • Keep Meets WP:NPROF. 11:47, 19 February 2021 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhawangupta (talkcontribs)
  • Keep as named professorship. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:00, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
