Poorly sourced biography of a living person. Notability per WP:ANYBIO questionable. bender235 (talk) 12:31, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Keep. There are enough references on Google Scholar and Books to persuade me that he's notable. Many of the Scholar hits allude to his notability: two descriptors that jumped out were "prominent conservative" and "influential conservative columnist and key aid (sic) to Khamenei". I imagine searching in Persian would bring up more results. Also, if it helps anyone in searching for sources, he also appears to be the editor or co-editor of Resalat, a conservative daily Iranian newspaper. — Mr. Stradivarius ♫ 13:08, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

  • Strong Keep. Mohebian is probably most notable conservative journalist after Hossein Shariatmadari.   • Comment. The article certainly does need cleanup, and nom is quite correct that it is poorly sourced. It is a blp mess at the moment. But I'm not, at this point in time, convinced that he is non-notable, given the above hits (and afd is not for cleanup).--Epeefleche (talk) 23:35, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
