Non-notable fictional character. This page has been repeatedly redirected to List of Camp Half-Blood characters#Annabeth Chase. This may be an option over outright deletion. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 20:42, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

- Delete page history, redirect, and protect. While the character would absolutely merit a mention in the overall character page, this character isn't really notable outside of the series as a whole. It's not like the character of Hermoine from Harry Potter or Jeeves from the Wodehouse stories and when you get down to it, that's the level of notability a character would really have to have in order to pass notability guidelines. I'm aware that any sources about the character would be in relation to the series, but there aren't really any sources that are actually about this specific character as opposed to her being mentioned in an article that's more about the series as a whole (review, etc). I suggest deleting the page history since that would discourage it getting un-redirected if the page was semi-protected.Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 18:46, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Keep The Google News Archive link above shows plenty of sources which could be added to this article. Since the problems could presumably be solved by regular editing, deletion is inappropriate. Jclemens (talk) 20:42, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
- Delete looked through the sources. A lot of WP:TRIVIALMENTIONs, and sources that verify elements of the plot. But we need something with real context to WP:verify notability, which is more than verifying plot elements. There are no sources of that quality, and that absence is the circumstance where deletion is appropriate. I could support a redirect if it's protected from further efforts to revive a topic that doesn't meet policy/guidelines. Shooterwalker (talk) 19:12, 25 December 2012 (UTC)

- Delete and Redirect. I searched for secondary sources and found only one that briefly mentions her dyslexia. One cannot build an encyclopedic article at the present time around this topic. Given that an article List of Camp Half-Blood characters exists with about as much information one would need on this character, redirection is appropriate. Also, redirection of such characters to such lists is the longstanding consensus, repeatedly used thousands of times on Wikipedia. Abductive (reasoning) 20:52, 30 December 2012 (UTC)
