Only source doesn't even mention the term, looks like WP:OR to me. Paradoctor (talk) 12:32, 5 November 2021 (UTC)

- Comment Googling "artist-scientist" shows that the term is completely made up, but there are plenty of sources discussing the overlap between art and science, such as [https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/00043125.2020.1852376?journalCode=uare20 this one] or [https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-00397-1 this one]. However, I won't !vote to keep because I haven't bothered assessing whether these sources are reliable. The article is currently hot garbage, but it's not unsalvageable. - Delete I'm sure information on the page can be salvageable to their respective article but I think TNT is the best course of action. – The Grid (talk) 20:03, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete The figurative language is intoxicating. It does not feel like how an article about a trope should be written. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 21:25, 5 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:NOR and WP:NOTESSAY. There might be enough sources floating around out there to justify a List of scientists who were also artists (or vice versa), but nothing from this page needs to remain. XOR'easter (talk) 23:02, 5 November 2021 (UTCdue to fff)
- Weak delete. There is potential to rewrite this into art and science, or redirect to polymath, but due to lack of footnotes (WP:OR) the current version is not worth keping (WP:TNT, etc.). --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:29, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete {{tq|The Artist-scientist is an archetype, an abstraction of life and the human mind. While never as common as archetypes like the child or the Hero, the artist-scientist is immediately recognizable. They are a builder, an inventor, a seeker, a dreamer, and a thinker. Distracted by their own thoughts, they frequently have to be pulled in out of the rain. They are simultaneously vastly knowledgeable and yet innocent, impulsive yet cautious. They represent the wonder to be found in curiosity, and the dangers.}} this reads like some middle-school essay, delete per WP:TNT. Hemiauchenia (talk) 21:50, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
- If I wrote that in middle school I'd be pretty proud of myself. AleatoryPonderings (???) (!!!) 02:54, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
- Delete - While there may be sources discussing the overlap between artists and scientists, the current contents of this article is completely WP:OR, if not outright WP:MADEUP. Additionally, even if such as article would be written, it would not be under this current article title, since, as mentioned by Mlb96, the term itself is made up. Thus, there is pretty much nothing here that is worth preserving. Rorshacma (talk) 03:21, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
