The result was no consensus. I don't see a consensus here except the opinion that these nominations need a larger discussion and that has not been happening in this AFD. Liz Read! Talk! 05:07, 17 September 2022 (UTC)

  • comment I don't understand why did you pick badminton, while there are articles about all sports from 2011 (and some from earlier Games). Are you trying to tell us no event at the Island Games deserves an article? Maybe start a discussion about that beforehand? Or why not nominate all of them? Is badminton notable at the 2017 Island Games?

  • Keep all as above. Why only badminton? All other sports are notable? This needs a general discussion. --Florentyna (talk) 05:22, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Keep all as per Florentyna. This needs a general discussion. Simeon (talk) 12:01, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

  • Keep all not sure what the point is. Maybe the results are too much/detailed for a "smaller" competition but that can fixed on an other way. Kante4 (talk) 09:17, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

  • Keep all that's my opinion aswell. Pelmeen10 (talk) 15:31, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
  • Delete all, per WP:NOTBURO, absolutely no coverage of these events has been identified and I could find nothing from a search, meaning they fail WP:GNG. Devonian Wombat (talk) 23:38, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
  • How did you search? One participant is Saaremaa from Estonia. Island Games in Estonian is "saarte mängud" - try searching it and you find different sources. [http://saaremaasport.ee/ saaremaasport.ee] probably covers it most thoroughly, also the newspaper saartehaal.ee. Anyway, articles (in Estonian) about Island Games badminton in 2019: [http://saaremaasport.ee/getter-saar-loi-sulgpallis-platsi-puhtaks/] [https://saartehaal.postimees.ee/6735880/getter-saarele-on-sulgpall-tahtsaim-mang]. And Saaremaa, Estonia is just one of the 27 participating islands. Pelmeen10 (talk) 12:34, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
