Other than a mention by the Oregonian, which is not available online, there is no significant independent coverage of this person that I can find, despite the article's assertion to the contrary. • Keep Seems to be a large and significant amount of coverage as you would expect from an internationally recognised expert on child birth. scope_creep^Talk 10:24, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
• Delete - I conducted several different searches and found only a Pinterest page, other social media such as videos, her own websites, Amazon/Barnes & Noble/Good Reads, and [https://books.google.com/books?id=HF0oDwAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=%22Barbara+Harper%22+-wikipedia&hl=en&newbks=1&newbks_redir=0&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiN6dTg5IbmAhXUHDQIHaD8APU4ChDoATABegQIBhAC#v=onepage&q=%22Barbara%20Harper%22%20-wikipedia&f=false citations] to her books. There's a few articles by her at [https://midwiferytoday.com/author/barbara-harper/ Midwifery Today], but nothing about her except a one-sentence blurb, the same one that appears in many mirrors. The only actual quantitative research she's done [https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1016/0091-2182%2889%2990084-0 was a single survey]. if she were "internationally known" then we'd see [https://www.sigmanursing.org/s-results?searchQuery=Barbara%20harper&indexCatalogue=all---updated-with-courses&wordsMode=0 more than two hits] at the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society website. I found [https://parenting.nytimes.com/pregnancy/water-birth exactly one major newspaper article that quotes her]. I conclude that there's not significant coverage about her in reliable sources. • Delete, following similar reasoning to Bearian. I found also an [https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2014/03/21/292381478/dont-birth-that-baby-in-a-tub-doctors-say-but-midwives-disagree NPR piece] that quotes her, but the notability case for her still looks thin to me.
