This is an author and teacher who has published a book and 5 articles. They've been published in either Wrecked for the Ordinary or Prodigal Magazine. All of the references are either primary sources to this, or from http://selfpublishingtoday.com (or another related one to that). There's also the official site and the official bio. I don't think this meets the WP:ACADEMIC criteria (I see no indication that he's a professor either--he's 22) and all of the sources appear to be closely related to the publishing sources.
