Notable for his extensive work on filariasis, a parasitic disease; I'm looking for a good reference, but there's [http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&q=filariasis+bd+cabrera&btnG=Search&as_sdt=2000&as_ylo=&as_vis=0 62 references in Google Scholar] for that alone. - Keep; the man is indeed notable for his work in parasitology. The little content in the article appears to have been lifted from WikiPilipinas, whose content is licenced under the GNU Free Documentation License 1.2.
