- Comment. This situation is not exactly comparable to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bharatiya Janata Party, Karnataka. In Karnataka the BJP is the leading party in the state government, whereas in Kerala the party has only one seat in the legislative assembly. The BJP state party in Kerala may be notable, but independent sources would need to be provided to establish that. Right now the only source cited is the state party's own website. I note that Manasbose has suggested some coverage above, so if those are good sources they should be used in the article itself. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:38, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

- Delete Due to WP:BRANCH. The national party is notable, all the state branches are not. Metropolitan90, I have reviewed all the sources by Manasbose, They are generally covering the right wing politics in Kerala, which does not directly mean BJP. Some of the article are election related coverage. Third party articles that cover the state wing in detail along with its history are lacking. Consequently there is hardly anything to write in the article. I am open to redirect this to Bharatiya Janata Party. Walrus Ji (talk) 20:45, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Delete per Walrus ji, subject lacks significant coverage. The coverage is about Bhartiya Janata Party which has it's own article. Fails WP:BRANCH and branches for Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra where the party has performed very well don't have separate articles. The article currently has one "source" to the front page of the party's official website (https://www.keralabjp.org/) that doesn't back anything in the article which leaves the entire article unsourced.
