• Keep: The BJP have never won in Tamil Nadu, the AIADMK and the other Dravidian party have held rule. Nonetheless, they hold office in many union states and territories in India. The following from the Bharatiya Janata Party page:

:Seats in State Legislative Councils: 94 / 426

:Number of states and union territories in government: 18 / 31 (currently 28 states and 3 union territories)

• Delete, Clearly fails WP:BRANCH. BJP is not a well performing party in Tamil Nadu and the article can be recreated if the party makes any notable performances in the state. We don't have articles for many states including Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra where BJP had performed very well. See State units of the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP has zero seats in Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and the state legislative assembly. Wikipedia is not a WP:CRYSTALBALL. - SUN EYE 1 12:51, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
