The result was delete. See my recent close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prostitution and State Sanctioned Violence for a mini-essay on class projects. -- RoySmith (talk) 15:00, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

IP contested PROD: concern was that this article is in violation of WP:OR and WP:NOTESSAY. CU on the account links it back to a university, which suggests that this is a poorly implemented class project. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:10, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Delete Agree with nom. Looks to be a poorly written essay. RickinBaltimore (talk) 14:23, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

- Redirect - Parts of this could probably be included in Incarceration in the United States, Incarceration of women in the United States, and most especially Race in the United States criminal justice system#Black women. And it's not totally clear that the last link should really be a section in an article primarily about race, and not spun off into its own article. I mean, is race really that clearly the more important factor over gender? Seems likely that they're both important factors and that this is in fact a distinct topic that has garnered plenty of scholarly and journalistic investigation and is almost certainly deserving of its own article.
:However, this ain't it, and right now is such a poor duplication of the black women section that it could arguably fall under A10, that is, if it wasn't a plausible redirect, which it is. TimothyJosephWood 15:06, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

- Keep - this appears to be another class project from a university out of Maryland. The current articles do not cover the intersection of POC, women, and the prison system. I'd move it to Black women in the United States prison system or something like that. Bearian (talk) 13:31, 8 August 2017 (UTC)
