I highly doubt this is a community. Newspapers.com only gets results about train timetables and stuff about the school and a nearby Cedar Green Road. (And no, having a place on NRHP doesn't mean automatic notability.) wizzito | say hello! 13:27, 29 November 2021 (UTC)

- Keep. There is also a cemetery. https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/2421471/cedar-green-cemetery There are several photos of roads in Cedar Green at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Cedar_Green,_Virginia There is an empty page at https://encyclopediavirginia.org/geodata/cedar-green/ "Cedar Green School is centrally located in the County in a black community on the southwestern edge of Staunton." according to https://www.dhr.virginia.gov/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/007-0755_Augusta_County_Training_School_1986_Final_Nomination.pdf On the basis of all this evidence, I conclude that Cedar Green is a community, and I suspect that historically it was predominantly Black. - keep The topos are a bit of a mess but they do show a town-ish thing there as far back as I look. Looking at the school article it seems pretty clear that this is a historic black community. Mangoe (talk) 15:09, 29 November 2021 (UTC)
- Keep' The NRHP nomination for the school describes Cedar Green as a community, and there's also some news coverage of it (see [https://www.newspapers.com/clip/89783175/the-daily-news-leader/] [https://www.newspapers.com/clip/89783263/the-daily-news-leader/] [https://www.newspapers.com/clip/89783475/the-times-dispatch/] [https://www.newspapers.com/clip/89783590/the-daily-news-leader/]) and some coverage by the [http://www.augustacountyhs.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/ACHSDrivingTourmapsmallversion-0320.pdf Augusta County Historical Society]. - Merge to Augusta County, Virginia - There's Just enough sourcing to write a short article. Until that content is actually added, it makes more sense to cover it within the county article. (Will change to Keep if article is expanded.) –dlthewave ☎ 16:32, 1 December 2021 (UTC)
