WP:Wikipedia is not a dictionary. I know that in some cases (for instance the "N-word") an ethnic insult has enough historical and cultural importance so that "not a dictionary" can be ignored. In this case the expression is said to have been coined in the 1960s popularized in 1967, after over 150 years of Mexican-American history. I have never heard it before and I just don't see it as being that important, or for that matter reflecting the attitudes of most Mexican-Americans. Jaque Hammer (talk) 09:57, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

- I'd suggest a merge, but I'm not sure where to. The scope is too broad to merge to Los Vendidos or even to Chicano literature, and I'm not sure what part of Chicano it could be merged to. I don't think the content should be deleted, so I vote keep pending a decision on where it should be merged to. Roscelese (talk ⋅ contribs) 18:05, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

- Delete I'm not even seeing any solid evidence that this term as described in the article even exists, much less is widestpread and notable enough for an encyclopedia article. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 01:50, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
- Delete - Not notable enough for an WP article.--Bobbyd2011 (talk) 12:02, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
