Total WP:GNG failure that should be redirected to List of Sirius XM Radio channels like a myriad of other SXM channels have been. However, there have been multiple reverts of bold redirections in the last several years, and at some point an AfD discussion is necessary to have a consensus that can keep this. Pinging the users who have made the reverts this year, {{u|PrincessJoey2024}} and {{u|SouthParkFan65}}, as well as {{u|Tdl1060}} who restored the redirect in February 2023. - Redirect to {{section link|List of Sirius XM Radio channels|Rock}} — before all those restorations, it was pointing to that section specifically and not merely to the list alone — would appear to be the logical alternative to deletion here, as with many other Sirius XM channels without separate notability. (I again must point out that even the pre-2021 version of the NRADIO essay, amidst its overpresumption of notability on the broadcast side, {{oldid|Wikipedia:Notability (media)|1019769913#Broadcast_media|did not do so for satellite radio channels}} and instead took the stance that {{tq|independent media coverage}} would determine any notability, though it did not explicitly defer to GNG the way the current version of essay does). Apparently PrincessJoey2024's restoration does contain an attempt at sourcing (prior versions did not have that whatsoever), but they don't exactly look like the independent and significant coverage we're looking for. Given the parade of restorations, I can't exactly oppose outright deletion either, to get this text out of the public archives entirely… WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 02:41, 15 October 2023 (UTC)

- Note: Apparently PrincessJoey2024 has now {{diff|Classic Rewind|1180193978|1180190983|reverted their restoration and restored a redirect}}. Given that this happened 32 minutes into the AfD discussion period, I don't think that's the correct way to handle this, right? (BLAR, with the backing of a 2021 RfC, seems to indicate that once such a redirect has been challenged the next step is indeed supposed to be AfD, and I'd have to think this discussion takes any precedent over even a self-revert going forward.) - Redirect and someone needs to start nominating these channels 5 or 10 at a time. Mach61 (talk) 03:54, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
- Comment I've reverted the redirection. Please continue on with this discussion. Liz Read! Talk! 07:13, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect per nom.--Tdl1060 (talk) 18:33, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Redirect per nom. Subject fails WP:GNG due to a lack of independent and secondary coverage. User:Let'srun 02:14, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
