I am unable to locate any significant coverage with in-depth information on the company and containing independent content, fails GNG/WP:NCORP HighKing++ 13:28, 12 November 2019 (UTC)

  • Weak Keep - The article currently has no sources but the record label has received some minor media notice that may qualify for a stub article under WP:NCOMPANY. The label has earned a certain "cult" status and its recent resurrection earned a little media notice: [https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=311790&title+-COOLTEMPO-BACK-ON-THE-BEAT], [https://www.recordoftheday.com/news-and-press/blue-raincoat-music-revives-classic-label-cooltempo-records]. However I would not dispute any calls for more evidence of notability. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 20:25, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Keep: this was a really well known label on the British music scene during the 1980s and 1990s, licensing many of the early US hip hop and electro/house singles for release in the UK, as well as developing homegrown R&B acts. Many of its singles and albums made the top ten in the UK, and it's certainly had in-depth coverage in Billboard for starters: [https://americanradiohistory.com/hd2/IDX-Business/Music/Archive-Billboard-IDX/IDX/80s/1987/Billboard-1987-03-21-OCR-Page-0031.pdf#search=%22cooltempo%22], [https://americanradiohistory.com/hd2/IDX-Business/Music/Archive-Billboard-IDX/IDX/80s/1989/BB-1989-12-02-OCR-Page-0004.pdf#search=%22cooltempo%22]. The label had its own distinct identity and as a result I would expect further print coverage in UK magazines like Music Week. Richard3120 (talk) 21:11, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Keep Agree with {{ping|Doomsdayer520}}, certainly needs references but label has enough notability and coverage. Rocktober2018 (talk) 22:12, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Weak keep per DOOMSDAYER520 . NNADIGOODLUCK (Talk|Contribs) 14:42, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
