Comment - My first search at [https://www.google.com/search?q=Cristiano+Farinelli++music&btnG=Search+Books&tbm=bks&tbo=1 Books] instantly found results from the previous century and it's possible some sources are going to be Italian and/or offline. SwisterTwister talk 22:39, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

Delete - the very existence of this person can not be established. The castrato Farinelli may have had an uncle, but the "composer and violinist Cristiano Farinelli" is a product of myth, hearsay and misunderstanding. His lifespan is unknown, and no other biographical detail can be confirmed. According to [https://books.google.com.br/books?id=g7JEAQAAMAAJ&q=Cristiano+Farinelli+hannover&dq=Cristiano+Farinelli+hannover&hl=pt-BR&sa=X&ei=MA2YVeXbIYjigwTv5KrQDg&ved=0CCoQ6AEwAA this] the first name of the "uncle" is unknown and this was in an English source expressed with a reference to "his Christian name" and then mistranslated as his first name having bee "Christian", in Italian "Cristiano". Also he was said to have been Konzertmeister in Hanover together with George Frideric Handel from 1680 to 1985, before Handel's birth... Kraxler (talk) 16:51, 4 July 2015 (UTC)
