Keep Um, he totally meets WP:PROF. I would say that he meets #1 "The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources", in terms of his work on chronic fatigue syndrome. He also meets #5 "The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or "Distinguished Professor" appointment at a major institution of higher education and research", for having been named chairperson of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. You could make a case for #3, because of him being a board member of the International Association for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. So...yeah. Silver seren^C 06:33, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Keep Many published articles and citations to Bells work comes up on Google scholar. Keep He not only meets WP:PROF, but is also notable as a media advocate for chronic fatigue syndrome.
