1920 is a really late date for a new 4th class post office, but the Taylor reference states that's what it was, and the topos and aerials tend to confirm this: the same two farms still sit there, and one of them is the location of the old post office. You can still use it as an alternate city in two zip codes, but there's no sign this was a town. Mangoe (talk) 03:37, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

- Keep. 1940 and 1960 Census data indicate Deora was a town; the 1960 Census gives Deora a population of 4. NewspaperArchive contains over 1,500 articles mentioning Deora, and there are a number of news articles which refer to Deora as a "community"; the [https://www.lamarledger.com/2009/07/01/paul-taylor-lamar-co/ Lamar Ledger], for example. It will take a while to improve this article, but with there being 1,500 newspaper sources alone, I'm certain a good article can be written. Firsfron of Ronchester 05:48, 22 October 2022 (UTC)
