- I moved the page to Mohammad Reza Marvi Mohajer is accordance with the MOS. DGG ( talk ) 03:33, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Keep Reading the article slowly, he seems to be notable as a academic/technical administrator, He also may be notable as a scholar--he held visiting professorships at major universities in Germany & Switzerland, and has written a number of books that have been translated into other languages. I interpret "58 persian projects, 32 projects in other languages" to mean 58 papers in Persian and 32 in other languages. Given the 12 doctorates he has directed, he is a leading figure in his subject, at least in his country. And the inability to be more precise is a function of systematic bias in lack of indexing coverage. DGG ( talk ) 03:33, 1 June 2010 (UTC)
- Weak delete. It all looks impressive, but I cannot verify from the sources provided that he has made a significant impact in his field. Location (talk) 06:13, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
- Weak delete He has published a few articles, see [http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&q=%22Mohammad+Reza+Marvi+Mohajer%22&btnG=Search&as_sdt=2000&as_ylo=&as_vis=0 Google Scholar], but his articles are rarely cited by others in the field. That would suggest that he fails WP:ACADEMIC ( a guideline which has very high criteria compared to guidelines in other fields such as sports). He is described as a "faculty member" at Tehran University, which is a distinguished university; I wonder if he is a tenured professor? If so that could almost be enough to make him notable, but I'm not able to find out that information. BTW if the article is kept, the "Dr." needs to be removed from the title per Wikipedia style. --MelanieN (talk) 15:29, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

- Weak delete I formatted the article a bit to make more easily readable. It is a nice resume, but so far does not quite appear to satisfy WP:ACADEMIC. Edison (talk) 20:52, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
- Weak delete - No indication meets WP:ACADEMIC - if new sources come to light might change mind. Codf1977 (talk) 11:38, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- Delete in the absence of any actual evidence that he passes WP:PROF. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:55, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
