The result was move to Statues in Dublin , clearly no consensus to delete. Exact title can be changed editorially, but I believe this one is more in line with current practices (editorial opinion only). lifebaka++ 17:07, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Unreferenced material with concocted nicknames (in many cases). Basically, a work of fiction. Might be more acceptable if the "nicknames" part was removed; or relegated to a referenced section within the article on "Dublin Statues" Sarah777 (talk) 23:51, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

  • Delete unless reworked - has potential as a topic and could be the basis of a decent article, but currently I agree with Sarah777: needs to be moved to something like statues in Dublin and reworked extensively to ensure it is essentially accurate. Warofdreams talk 00:45, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Keep and rework. The nicknames are a small part of a useful article, and come from a single web-site. If they are widely used, they would be worth keeping, but if not, take them out and move the 90% that remains. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 21:42, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Still no references

Two more months and nothing except additional fiction added. If we don't take a decision here soon I'll delete everything that isn't referenced and move the article to "List of Dublin statues". Sarah777 (talk) 12:05, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Move to Dublin statues & tone down uncited nicknames & up the encyclopedic content per the above. Lucian Sunday (talk) 18:47, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Move for same reasons outlined above, and probably also because of WP:COMMONNAME - if people wanted to know a nickname, chances are they'd look up the statue article, not a "statue nickname" article. --HighKing (talk) 20:42, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
  • Move to Dublin statues (not sure it should be a list though), but do not delete content which, albeit unreferenced, is already tagged as such and could be very difficult to replace. MediaMob (talk) 14:47, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
