Article is about a jewlery designer, but I find no evidence that this person passes the standard notability test, either the general notability guideline or the biography specific one. The article has only one reference, which is to the person's own self-made website, and the relevent google search: [http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Elizabeth+Gage&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g3g-s1g4] turns up squadoosh as well. I find evidence that her stuff is on sale in places, but there does not appear to be the sort of in-depth & independent writing about her out there to use to build this article around. - Keep See [http://books.google.com/books?id=JOgCAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA25&dq=%22ELIZABETH+GAGE%22&lr=&as_brr=3 New York Magazine, Oct 2, 1989] which said she was "Britain's best known jeweler". That was 20 years ago. Notability does not expire. See also [http://books.google.com/books?id=I-vr534jRMkC&pg=PA46013&dq=%22ELIZABETH+GAGE%22&lr=&as_brr=3] which calls her "one of the most influential jewelers of the late 20th century." - Withdraw nom Thanks Edison. I couldn't find anything recent in either Google or Google news. Thanks for finding those sources. My concerns have been allayed. --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 03:18, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- More recently, in 2007, the Sunday Sun calls her "one of the world's top jewellery designers", and "one of the world's most sought after designers".[http://www.sundaysun.co.uk/whats-on-newcastle-north-east/arts-theatre-newcastle-north-east/2007/06/25/sparkling-future-beckons-79310-19351463/] Apteva (talk) 03:30, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, OK. I am an idiot. Duly noted... ;) Seriously, thanks for finding those sources. The article could really use them. --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 03:35, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
